Swim Fit & Swim Strong

Whether you are learning to swim for the first time, tuning up your swim stroke to become an efficient lap swimmer or gearing up for a triathlon, MRSC adult swim instructors will provide you with the tools to be a successful swimmer.

Instruction & Fitness in the Water

Madison Racquet & Swim Club provides open swimming lanes for adult swimmers seven days a week. Please check the Pool Lane schedule regularly as open swim times can vary.

Private and semi-private lessons are also available for swimmers of all abilities.

Water is the perfect medium for increasing strength, flexibility, muscle tone and endurance, and MRSC water fitness classes are perfect for all fitness levels and all ages. Whether you are getting back in shape or cross training, water fitness is gentle on your joints.

Aqua Fitness Classes 

The Madison Racquet & Swim club offers classes, instruction, and training programs for those who want to take advantage of the low-impact workouts the pool offers, to swim masters and triathletes looking to improve their performance through training.


Masters Swim Clinic

This clinic works on stroke technique, improving endurance and speed in the water. Suitable for all levels of adult swimmers looking to improve or begin lap swimming.

Water Fitness

A fun and exciting class designed for active older adults, increasing muscle strength, flexibility and range of motion through water exercise. The focus of this class is on building core control. Participants do not need swimming skills.  All levels and ages welcome.

Open Swim

Shared common swimming spaces for independent swim activities for up to 2 hours. This space designed for activities that include water exercise, family swim, free play, water walking and basic water fun. This is not a lap area and is intended for Open Swim activities only.
